I'm looking for a plastic peace to a HP DV6000 laptop.

Does anyone have a old HP DV6000 laptop with that silver plastic peace that is on top under the screen when the laptop is open? I have looked everywhere for that little peace of plastic.

Search ebay for the laptop # & "hinge cover" or "hinge cover plate" - you should get some returns on that. There may be more than one part type though, depending on the size of screen/etc.

Here is one I found off ebay. I found a few online but they are listed by part number and not laptop size. The side that has broken off happens to be the side with the part number on my customers.
