Steve supports Firefox, and might give a try for Chrome if it was possible to install xmarks.
Daniel points out that some pages takes less to load in Google Chrome compared to Firefox
Paul uses all of them, since he does web development, so he uses them to see how it looks in all. Supports Chrome as well for it's speed to load pages.
Some people like Firefox for it's security but if you install the ie tab and that sort of looses the security features that Firefox has.
Overall we techies install IE for regular customers because the clients look for the blue ie icon.
Steve looks if it's possible to use xmarks on chrome. But it's still on beta.

Free implies ads, so how much is too much to start paying?
Steve leans towards paying since his threshold as for ads has been reached.
Daniel leans towards paying for certain sites that has too many ads.
John leans towards paying since ads are starting to get too intrusive, and sometimes nothing to do with the topic you're looking at.
Paul points out that Google is a marketing company bringing targeted ads to people.
John points out that Google won't bother too much with ads.
John thinks it's more of a moral issue to turn it on and off to help out the webpage owner.
Daniel and Paul talk about a version of HULU that's paid.
Steve thinks that HULU is nice since they are small and little ads.
John points out that in some software, the check box for ads is enabled by default or should it be disabled by default?
Paul points out that for free versions it should be enabled to compensate the developer.
Steve thinks that it's up to the developer to put that check box visible or not so much. It all goes back to credibility and ethical practices.
Steve doesn't like the ads on youtube videos.
John points out that sometimes you only can only find the check box for ads, in the custom installation not the standard installation.
John: Why say that Windows XP is better than Vista when Vista is a better option?
Steve points out that most people hate Vista because at first the general idea was that vista sucked, not because they in fact knew why it was so bad.
John points out how standard users like Vista for the looks.
John points out that Windows 7 is soft like Windows 98SE, it's mainly a Windows Vista little improved.
Daniel points out that clients fears change, so when people are used to Windows XP it could be hard to upgrade to Windows Vista or 7.
Daniel likes to temporary upgrades for the free 30 day trial.
Paul talks about a Wikipedia article pointing out that Vista was rushed since Windows 7 wasn't ready (quotation or link needed).
John talks out about the improvements in Vista for regular users.
Steve points out that at first Vista was a memory huger.
Paul points out that MS said that you could run Win Vista on 512 or RAM which wasn't completely true.
Steve: Hackintoshes: Should somebody buy an apple or build your own Hackintosh?
Steve runs both, and says that Hackintoshes still has bugs, like the sleep mode.
Daniel thinks that its more of a fun project to do for techies but not for regular users.
Steve talks about building the Hackintosh, that it took about a week to build.
John points out how the Achilles' Heel of apple is their hardware.
Paul talks about how there's a better chance of customization with PCs
